This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps. The impeller is balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182T frame. It is configured for a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply using across-the-line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler enclosed by a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
