This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections. It is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly connects to system piping using ANSI Class 125 flanges and incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, 230-460V/3PH/60Hz Baldor TEFC motor in a 213 T-frame. This motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is configured for across the line starting and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.86.
