This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. It integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber provides fluid containment, while the assembly supports operating pressures up to 125 PSI. The pump incorporates pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 3450 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and accepts 200-230V / 3PH power with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
