This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings to facilitate maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor premium efficiency TEFC motor, frame size 324T. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, and the DOE PEI is 0.93.
