This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is housed in a NEMA 215 T frame and is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings, with the system maintaining a DOE PEI of 0.88. The equipment is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
