This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump is driven by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 324 T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with Across the Line starting. The motor is configured for a 40°C ambient environment and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is installed on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
