This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ports. The unit incorporates a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for operation up to 225°F. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring.
This unit is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor, NEMA 213 T-frame, and an ODP enclosure. The motor operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power, utilizing an across-the-line starting method. The assembly includes premium efficiency components that meet NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is installed on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with a DOE PEI of 0.94.
