This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing with an integrally cast bronze wear ring and an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber mechanical seal are installed, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes suction and discharge pressure tappings along with flush seal line taps for system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a NEMA 256 T-frame and TEFC enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and operates with counter-clockwise rotation.
