This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller constructed of bronze within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, capable of handling clean water up to 300 °F. Flush seal line taps are included for filter installation, and the unit incorporates a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 286 JM frame with feet and supports 230-460/60/3 power. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit has a PEI value of 0.94.
