This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The bearing frame houses greasable bearings, and the unit includes an insulated bearing at the non-drive end.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 444 T-frame enclosure. The electrical configuration supports 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS SGR. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and carries a PEI value of 0.94.
