This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integral pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 75 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 365 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet MG1-12.55 standards. The DOE PEI value for this pump is 0.94.
