This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing, 3" suction, and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It houses a 6-1/4" bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump uses a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from system fluid. The mechanical seal, composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, is rated for 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a drip cover, operating at 1750 RPM. This motor uses 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. It is configured with a JM frame, motor feet, CCW rotation, and an across-the-line starting option for 40°C ambient environments. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This configuration carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.85.
