This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and includes a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 326 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a standard Woods coupler. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
