This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure. It operates on 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 256 JM frame with feet and includes a drip cover, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40 °C ambient rating. This unit meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards (MG1-12.55) and has a PEI of 0.89. The assembly is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
