This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and 5" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, which is fitted to a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and utilizes greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
This unit is configured with a 25 HP Baldor ODP motor, NEMA frame 284T, operating at 1750 RPM. Power requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is protected by a standard coupler guard and a Woods coupler. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and is rated for operation in a 40 °C ambient environment.
