This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction consists of a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. It incorporates a rear pull-out design for maintenance access, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and a dry shaft configuration. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections to monitor system performance.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP, 1150 RPM, TEFC Baldor motor. It operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly utilizes a 284 JM motor frame with feet for mounting. This motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a top centerline discharge orientation to simplify piping layouts and facilitate self-venting operation.
