This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, isolated from circulating fluid through a dry shaft construction. Rated for 125 PSI operation, the assembly incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components. Gauge ports exist at the suction and discharge connections, while integrally cast mounting feet provide support for the volute.
Powered by a 60 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor, this assembly operates at 3450 RPM and incorporates Aegis shaft grounding for operation on 380-460V 3PH power. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
