This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge. The unit utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and includes a bronze wear ring. The design incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the pump shaft from the system fluid. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and flush seal line taps, and it utilizes a rear pullout design for service access.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with an 182JM motor frame style with feet and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. Power requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and meets NEMA standards. This pump complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89. The top center line discharge configuration assists in piping alignment and self-venting of the pump casing.
