This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design, which prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings and features pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a PEI of 0.94. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard.
