This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction port and a 1-1/4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 145 frame. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. Power requirements are 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz, utilizing across-the-line starting. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard.
