This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP WEG motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. The motor is a TEFC enclosure that operates at 1750 RPM. It uses a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is configured for across-the-line starting with a 40 °C ambient temperature rating.
