This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. It utilizes a 9-1/2" bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The casing includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and integral pressure tappings for suction and discharge monitoring. A dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 215 T frame. The premium efficiency motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. It features a TEFC enclosure, 230-460/60/3 power, and across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant guard. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
