This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 364TS frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 230-460/60/3 power configuration. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler to connect to the motor. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
