This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft and includes an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps for filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured with an 184 JM motor frame with feet and utilizes across the line starting. The motor operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including the addition of AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features counter-clockwise rotation. This product has a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
