This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with an across the line starting option and a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor uses a JM frame style with feet and features premium efficiency, meeting MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The ambient temperature rating is 40 °C. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
