This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and a foot support at the driver end.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor motor in a 215 NEMA T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
