This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components allows for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing also includes integral gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections, as well as a drain port.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a NEMA 284 frame. The electrical configuration is 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz, supporting across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This assembly is EISA compliant with a PEI of 0.90 and an HI Energy Rating of 10. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
