This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design for servicing, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. It uses a JM frame style with feet, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This configuration features CCW rotation and a DOE PEI rating of 0.97.
