This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal bronze impeller. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly is supported by sealed-for-life ball bearings housed in a cast iron bearing frame.
This pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 213T NEMA frame, operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards (MG1-12.55) and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This unit has a PEI of 0.92 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation.
