This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The pump uses a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The impeller is dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame, operating at 1750 RPM with a power supply of 230-460/60/3 PH. It employs across the line starting, a 40 °C ambient rating, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings. The unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.94.
