This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. The unit uses a mechanical seal with a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 225 °F. It includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and is rated for operation in 40 °C ambient conditions.
