This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The casing is made of cast iron and includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, as well as a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG Super E Premium Efficiency motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame. The motor enclosure is TEFC, and the system is configured for 380/60/3 PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. The DOE PEI value for this unit is 0.92.
