This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. It is equipped with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and factory-provided pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. This assembly is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP, 230/460V, 3PH motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 286 frame. The WEG Premium Efficiency motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.92 and an HI Energy Rating of 8. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient operation.
