This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is composed of EPT rubber with a ceramic seat and a carbon rotor, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F.
The unit is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor, configured for 230-460/60/3 power input and mounted on a 324TS frame. It operates at 3450 RPM and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is installed on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
