This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The pump includes ANSI Class 250 flanges and is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F.
The system operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It is configured for a 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler enclosed by a guard. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump maintains a PEI of 0.85. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings.
