This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 256JM frame with feet. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The unit has a PEI of 0.89 and utilizes an across-the-line starting option.
