This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located at both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The assembly is powered by a 75 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor motor in a 365 NEMA T frame. It operates on a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This pump uses greasable bearings and is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The unit maintains an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
