This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 405T frame. The system is configured for 460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a standard Woods coupler and a bearing frame with greasable bearings. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding, meets NEMA standards for a 40°C ambient temperature, and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump has a PEI rating of 0.94.
