This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 10 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame configuration. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler with a protective guard. It features greasable bearings and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for motor protection. The equipment meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
