This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. The internal construction includes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP, 230-460/60/3 PH Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame. The system utilizes across-the-line starting and includes greasable bearings and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor and pump are mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, connected by a Woods coupler. This equipment meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
