This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluids. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 225°F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor NEMA 213 T frame motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded steel base that features an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
