This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing provides gauge ports for pressure monitoring and a drain port.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is NEMA frame 324TS and uses a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA. The pump is configured for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a PEI of 0.9.
