This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid and does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is configured with a 10 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T frame. The electrical system is rated for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH with an ODP enclosure and across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses greasable bearings and a standard Woods coupler, mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. The pump has a PEI value of 0.96.
