This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a dry shaft construction with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the internal assembly. A mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. The pump allows for parallel pumping and multi-pump control operations, with the casing rated for a pressure of 125 PSI.
The assembly integrates a 3 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding, supplied by 380-460V / 3PH power. The DOE PEI is 0.49. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
