This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is equipped with an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It utilizes a 404TS NEMA motor frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler for the connection. The unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
