This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 215T NEMA frame. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Electrical requirements are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods flexible coupler. This equipment carries a DOE PEI of 0.91 and is rated for operation in a 40°C ambient environment.
