This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of handling clean water up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates venting.
This pump is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and no drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM with a 230-460/60/3 power supply, featuring a 286 JM motor frame style with feet. The motor is configured for across the line starting and is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures. It meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.92 and operates in a CCW rotation.
