This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent system fluid from contacting the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, capable of operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This model also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured on a JM frame with feet and operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. It meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor operates in 40°C ambient conditions with a counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
