This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the shaft assembly.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 182, configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and includes premium efficiency compliance with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump has a PEI of 0.94.
