This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA 324 T frame type and is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
